Fashion jewellery and hair accessories in Yiwu
Hair accessories and jewellery trade from floor 2 of International Trade City District 1, with craft gifts, ornaments and picture frames on floor 3. The official floor plan also lists jewellery and craft goods on floor 1 of District 5, where imported goods sit alongside domestic ones.
Two districts means two supplier pools: District 1 for the volume wholesale trade, District 5 for imported and higher-value pieces. Buyers usually cover one floor properly rather than both at a glance.
What to check before you order
Ask for the material, not the trade name. Base metal, plating thickness and stone type decide whether a piece survives a season of wear, and most stalls will state them in writing if you ask in those terms.
For plated items, ask what the plating is and whether it is tested to a standard. A photograph of a shiny sample proves nothing about how the plating wears.
Where the mistakes happen
Nickel and lead limits differ by market and are checked on the finished piece, so specify the destination market in the order and ask whether the supplier has current test reports for that standard.
The second trap is weight and count: cheap fashion jewellery is priced by piece, and a consignment that arrives short on pieces is harder to claim than one that arrives short on weight.
We do not publish per-stall prices. Ask each supplier for the unit price at three quantities and at the same specification, and treat any level quoted on this page as a starting point for negotiation rather than a market rate.
Product categories are maintained by us as a taxonomy; they are not a claim about any factory's certification or capacity.
