Yiwu International Trade City District 3: the floor plan, floor by floor

District 3 is the Trade City's building for eyewear, stationery, sports goods, cosmetics and garment accessories. The official floor plan puts one category band on each level, and this guide reads it floor by floor.

How the building is organised

The building carries around 460,000 square metres of floor area. Floors 1 to 3 hold more than 6,000 standard booths of about 14 square metres each, and floors 4 to 5 hold some 600 larger business booths of 80 to 100 square metres.

That split is the plan's most useful fact. The small booths trade in ranges and mixed quantities; the large upper booths are direct-sales space where producers show fuller lines. Vehicles can reach every floor, which matters on the way out with cartons.

Floor 1: eyewear and paper products

Floor 1 pairs eyewear with paper products. Eyewear stalls carry sunglasses, readers and frames alongside cases and display stock, and it is worth asking each stall which lines are stocked versus made to order.

Paper products cover notebooks, albums, wrapping and gift stationery. The pairing is convenient for gift and retail buyers: one floor produces two categories that often ship in the same mixed container.

Floor 2: office, study and sports

Floor 2 concentrates office and study supplies with sports goods, sports equipment and sports leisure goods. The stationery side runs from pens and desk sets to full school ranges; the sports side from small fitness goods to equipment.

Work the floor in category blocks rather than at random. Sports buyers should cross to the stationery aisles deliberately: promotional sets that bundle both categories are commonly assembled here, and the bundle is often quoted differently from its parts.

Floor 3: cosmetics and garment accessories

Floor 3 is the trim floor: cosmetics, mirrors and combs, buttons and zippers, garment accessories and accessory parts. For anyone buying apparel, this is the single most useful floor in the building.

Buttons and zippers sit beside the stalls that sell finished trims, so a sample garment can be matched, piece by piece, in one pass. Cosmetic and mirror stalls on the same floor serve gift and beauty ranges, which keeps adjacent-category discovery cheap.

Floors 4 and 5: the factory direct-sales centre

The upper floors house the factory direct-sales centre, covering cultural and sports goods, cosmetics, eyewear, buttons and zippers, in business booths of 80 to 100 square metres.

Come here with volume, or with a specification you want produced rather than bought from stock. The conversations upstairs are longer: tooling, lead times and repeat orders, not single cartons. Our pricing guide explains how those quotes are structured.

Floor layouts change as tenants rotate; verify against the current floor plan on arrival.
